The more I grow in my photography journey, the more I start to appreciate my couples who like to do their sessions close to home. We had to reschedule Jessie’s maternity session at least three times due to the weather. If it wasn’t cold, it was raining or blowing but that’s winter on the Eastern Shore y’all. Luckily, the day after Jessie’s shower came out beautiful and warm, and I was so grateful that we got to take these images before this baby boy decided to make his appearance.

I have been dying to do a session on a boat and with the weather so perfect, we were able to take Robert’s work boat out. I was in heaven. Even Nick, their black lab, came along with us for the ride but he was a little camera shy. Jessie and Robert were so relaxed with one another. I can’t wait to see them grow as parents.

Though I have lived here all my life, I still am amazed by the beauty of the Shore, even in the winter. Jessie you are so gorgeous! This little boy should be here any day now!
