“Photographs open doors into the past but they also allow a look into the future.”

I knew that I wanted to be a photographer after I took my first photography class my junior year of high school. There was just something about being in the darkroom and working with the camera that completed me as a person. I received my BFA in Photography from James Madison University in 2012. My background in black and white film photography has taught me to treat every image line an individual work of art. I'm a self proclaimed perfectionist. My family is my rock. They have supported and encouraged me ever since I decided I wanted to become a photographer. My baby sister has always been my muse and has never said no to a photo shoot. My husband joins me on some of my shoots and keeps me laughing and sane.
